Description:
In this assignment, you will write a letter to your instructor reflecting on your experience

meeting with the librarian, receiving feedback on your work from the Academic Success Center

tutor and the Smarthinking.com tutor, your participation with in-class peer review, as well

as your time spent during student/teacher conferences. Additionally, you will need to

reflect on your growth as writer in the course by discussing how these experiences has

shaped the final product of your research papers, and over all, you as a writer.
Instructions:
Write a letter of reflection covering two items:
First, tell your instructor about your experience meeting with the librarian, receiving

feedback on your work from the Academic Success Center tutor and the Smarthinking.com tutor,

your participation with in-class peer review, as well as your time spent during

student/teacher conferences. Some areas to consider should include the first two below and

might include the rest:
ï‚· Strengths and benefits from each session ï‚· What were the negative aspect (if any) of

each ï‚· Compare and contrast these methods
Second, discuss you growth as a writer in this course. For example, are you more comfortable

writing and research? What helped you in the course? What techniques are you now employing

more often? Was your instructor’s guidance helpful? What would you like to see more of?

Less of? Do you plan to continue writing? Reading? What did you learn about yourself?
