Greek Art
It is clear that art in Classical Greece was predicated on the belief that “man is the measure of all things.” While Protagoras was musing about the subjectivity of truth, here I am asking you to describe how Greek art and architecture might relate to this statement. In your response, please describe ways in which Greek representations of the human form changed over time. What interests or changes in culture might account for these changes? Select 2 or 3 works from different periods to support your argument.
Please compose a response of 300 to 500 words, using 2-3 specific examples from the readings or additional resources to support your arguments. Your opinion matters, but your argument should be logically sound and supported by evidence.
